So, my youtube idea is…

… a movie news show.

I read all of these movie blogs every day, and many stories are very uninteresting. Others are very interesting but buried because a page can only hold so many stories… I want to create a “show” that shows the most interesting movie stories of the day. By interesting, I mean trailers, pictures, etc. I don’t know exactlywhat it will be like, I just know what I want…

On my new laptop…

So, I got the laptop earlier in the day… around 1:30 pm. It’s pretty sweet. It runs smoothly, and loads fast. I really hope this computer can handle all the Adobe products I plan to buy next week!

In other news, there is no news…

Guess I should post something, eh?

Well, it has only been five days, and already I missed a day of posting. Oh well. Why should I update when there’s nothing to update?

My new laptop should be here today, but the shipment has been delayed for some reason… even though the weather is completely clear. I didn’t pay for one-day shipping for nothing!

I haven’t played too much with the new HD camcorder. I don’t have any ideas for any Youtube videos. If you have an idea, tell me!

That’s really it…

Just so you know, you can view every movie I’ve seen so far this year by visiting this page.

Movies I’ve Seen So Far…

This counts as my daily blog post…

These are all the movies I’ve seen so far in 2010. It will be updated after every film I see: http://hiddenchaos.com/?page_id=40

Another Day Bites The Dust

Well, I saw Sherlock Holmes to last night, got a camcorder with my dad this afternoon, and plan to buy a new laptop in the near future. More tomorrow, but I had to continue my resolution. Review of Sherlock Holmes coming soon too!

…And A Happy New Year

According to the date on my computer, it is now January 1, 2010. A new year means new resolutions. Mine are simple, and I hope not to give up on them within a week.

1) I’m going to write a screenplay. It probably won’t be a quality screenplay, mind you, but it’ll be something worth (hopefully) reading.

2) I’m going to update this blog daily, even if just to rant or nitpick bout movies you care nothing about.

3) I will review every movie I watch in theaters, even if they are a couple weeks old. Don’t expect long reviews, though. Don’t expect short ones, either.

4) I will make short films and upload them to Youtube. Perhaps I’ll try to be an internet sensation. Apparently, the first step to becoming one is to make videos that you think are funny, but aren’t actually funny, so I’m hoping it won’t be too tough.

5) Visit Pixar. I may or may not want to work for them, as I don’t think I want to go into animation, but to tell quality stories like they do would be a dream! Heck, maybe that Pixar fan site I’ve been working on will be finished… okay, so that really is a pipe dream.

In a perfect world, I would stay true to all five of these resolutions. Odds are, one or two of them will not last past January, but perhaps I can do this. It shouldn’t be too tough, right?

“Toy Story 3″ Trailer Easter Egg – Going “Up”!

I’m sure by now you have all seen the full trailer for “Toy Story 3.” On the off chance you haven’t, view it on Apple in HD! I’m also assuming you’ve seen “Up” as well, but if not, it’s perfectly fine, I’ll just be more descriptive.

When the “Toy Story 3″ trailer came online, I searched and searched for Easter eggs, but only found the Buy’NLarge Batteries in Buzz Lightyear. Of course, that was only after reading about them on various websites. I kept loooking though, determined to find another. I thought I had found a couple, but I didn’t have solid proof… UNTIL NOW!

Recently, an artist for Pixar by the name of Paul Conrad posted a blog about the various 2D art he created for the film “Up.” Of the art posted was some postcards that were placed on the mantle in Carl and Ellie’s house. One of those postcards looked familiar, and not from the movie it was originally in.

Upon finding this new clue, I re-opened the “Toy Story 3″ trailer, and there it was… THE POSTCARD! Fifty-five seconds into the trailer and there it is:

If anyone at Pixar wants to send me a medal, just let me know.

It’s been a while…

Yes, I know this looks dead, as if I’m not going to write anything, or work towards a goal. Well, for now, you’re right. It’s finals week soon, jence my lack of posting, but I have something coming very soon! It’s cool if you like Pixar, trust me…

Random Tidbit #2,498

Villains don’t wake up and just decide to be evil. They do bad things because, in their mind, they believe it’s the right way.

Opening Scene

For a few days I’ve had the perfect idea to start an indie/romantic comedy. Just follow me on this:

The film would fade in on a moving train. The camera would be focused outside the window. As the credits would flash, some eclectic music, or maybe some Rufus Wainwright song, would be playing. As the credits role, several sceneries can be be seen appearing and disappearing. As the song fades and the credits end, the train can be seen slowing down. When the train stops, you can see a young man sitting on a bench at the station. As soon as the song is completely faded out, the man walks on the train and sits down in front of the camera.

Perhaps my ego is keeping me from seeing how lame the idea is, but it seems like it would look good on film. How you’d be able to film it so it looks perfect would be the hard part.
